Jamaican-born musicians Sandra Denton and Thom Bell to be inducted in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame
Jamaican born musicians Sandra Denton aka Pepa and legendary producer songwriter Thom Bell are among the 2025 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees.
Sandra ‘Pepa’ Denton, best known for her work as a member of the Grammy winning female rap trio Salt-N-Pepa will receive an award for musical influence, which recognizes artistes who have impacted culture through their music and performance style. Meanwhile the late record producer and songwriter Thom Bell, known as one of the creators of Philadelphia soul in the 1970’s will be recognized for musical influence.
Slated for Saturday November 8 at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles, California, the ceremony will be streamed live on Disney+ and will be available on Hulu on November 9. An induction special will also air at a later date on ABC.
