Prime Minister Andrew Holness has reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to environmental stewardship through robust legal frameworks and practical operational measures.

He assures that his administration’s goals are not at odds with those of environmental advocates and conservationists.

He says the Government’s mission is clear, and that is to protect the environment today and for generations to come.

The Prime Minister was addressing residents, following a tour of the Harmony Beach Park, in Montego Bay, St. James, on Friday.
