A 19-year-old male motorcyclist was killed in a crash along the Sun Valley main road in St. James last night.

He is Obrian Williams of Hendon in Norwood, St. James.

Reports are that at about 11:30 P.M., Williams, who was travelling on his bike along a side thoroughfare, failed to come to a complete stop when heading onto the Sun Valley main road.

He reportedly collided with a white Toyota motorcar.

Williams and the car driver were rushed to the hospital.

Williams was pronounced dead, while the car driver received medical treatment.

According to the latest data from the Road Safety Unit, 122 people have been killed on the nation’s roadways so far this year.
