Mendez Town Farm Road in Trelawny rehabilitated
The commute of farmers and other residents of Lime Tree in southern Trelawny has been made easier.
This after the newly-rehabilitated Mendez Town Farm Road was officially handed over by Agriculture Minister Floyd Green.
The project, which costs an estimated $140 million, was funded by the Caribbean Development Bank and implemented through the Jamaica Social Investment Fund.
Mr. Green said the rehabilitated roadway is expected to improve transportation for residents, especially those engaged in farming.
Mr. Green added that the Government continues to invest in farm roads, with $900 million allocated this year for more road rehabilitation projects.
