The National Water Commission (NWC) says its management team is working actively to minimize any impact on the delivery of water services, due to unrest among segments of its technical staff.

In a release this morning, the NWC said its response is two-fold.

The first response aims to continue engagement with the parties that are restive and other relevant stakeholders to address the issues raised.

The second response is to undertake the necessary remedial steps to safeguard the water supply distribution to customers.

It said arrangements are also being made to deliver trucked water to areas experiencing disruption.
