The Portland police are probing the suspected drowning of a 15-year-old boy in the Swift River, near Hope Bay yesterday.

Dead is Zedain Wilson of Greendale, St. Catherine.

Police reports are that at about 1:00 PM, Zedain went to the river with his family.

While swimming, he reportedly got into difficulties and was pulled from the water.

Zedain was taken to the Port Antonio Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
