The Jamaican Tik Tok community has been plunged into mourning following the death of one of their own in a motor vehicle crash in St. Ann last evening.

Dead is 29 year-old Ackeem Brooks, a welder of East Avenue in Greenwich Town, Kingston.

Police report that at about 8:42 p.m. Brooks was driving a Nissan grey Latio motorcar, with one passenger aboard, along the Edward Seaga highway, in the Unity Valley area.

Brooks reportedly lost control of the vehicle, which overturned and he was flung from it.

The two injured persons were taken to hospital, where Brooks was pronounced dead while the passenger was admitted for treatment.
