A second section of the roadway in Buff Bay Portland has been impacted by heavy rains.

This time it’s the Buff Bay to Balcarres main road, which has been rendered impassable due to a landslide. 

Earlier today, the Buff Bay to White Hall roadway was rendered impassable.

The National Works Agency, NWA, said this is due to the river in Craig Mill, being in spate. 

Landslides also impacted the main road from Ecclesdown to Muirton, while rock falls were reported along the Williamsfield to Haining corridor.

NWA Communications Manager Stephen Shaw said teams have been dispatched to clear the blocked roadways. 

Heavy rains also affected St. Ann, with flooding reported along Main Street, and Milford Road, in Ocho Rios.
