Three males fatally shot by police in Grange Hill, Westmoreland
Three males were fatally shot by police in Grange Hill, Westmoreland this morning.
Their identities have not yet been released.
Reports are that at about 4:30am, police were conducting a targeted raid in the Morgan’s Bridge area when there was an alleged confrontation with the civilians.
The three men were shot and wounded.
They later succumbed.
Police say 2 pistols and a quantity of ammunition were also seized.
The Independent Commission of Investigations, INDECOM is probing the incident.
Since the start of the year, at least 86 people have been fatally shot by members of the security forces.
