Ninja Man mourns Cocoa Tea: “Heartbreaks are getting hard to handle”
Incarcerated Dancehall veteran Ninja Man has penned a heartfelt letter expressing condolences for the late Cocoa Tea.
In his emotional message, Ninja Man wrote, “Oh God! In three strikes I have been hurt left, right, and center because two of my best friends in the music industry have gone.”
He continued, “I just had to tell my friend and brother Determine goodbye, then my lawyer and now another of my best friends in the music fraternity, the Great Cocoa Tea.”
Ninja Man, whose lawyer Valerie Neita Robertson passed away last month, shared that the wave of losses is becoming harder to bear, especially since he’s unable to attend the funerals and pay his respects.
Known for regularly communicating through letters from behind bars, Ninja Man is currently serving a life sentence for the 2009 murder of Ricardo “Ricky Trooper” Johnson. He was convicted in November 2017.
