Normal operations resume at NMIA following fire
Normal operations have resumed at the Norman Manley International Airport NMIA, in Kingston following a fire at the facility, last evening.
No one was injured in the fire which broke out at around 7:30 p-m, in the Club Kingston area of the terminal.
However, several flights were delayed.
The fire was extinguished by the Jamaica Fire Brigade late last evening.
In an update this morning the operators of the NMIA, PAC Kingston Airport Limited (PACKAL), said all flights are operating as planned.
It said an investigation will be launched later today into the cause of the fire.
