Sean Paul, Ding Dong, and selector Boom Boom were among the many Jamaicans who turned out in full force at the National Stadium yesterday to witness Lionel Messi’s historic performance on Jamaican soil.

While Sean Paul and Boom Boom sported Jamaican colors in support of Cavalier FC, Ding Dong proudly wore an Inter Miami jersey and cheered for Messi.

But Ding Dong wasn’t alone, approximately 90% of the crowd erupted with cheers when Messi scored his first goal in Jamaica.

In the end, Messi’s Inter Miami beat Cavalier FC 2 nil, securing their spot in the Concacaf Champions Cup quarterfinals.
