Attorney at law Isat Buchanan has hit pause on his music career to focus on a bigger mission, bringing change to Portland.

Despite having a collaboration with Vybz Kartel, the PNP candidate for East Portland says he won’t release the track, believing it would be a distraction from his true goal.

During his Road To Success interview with Kshema Francis on Easy Skankin’ on Thursday (March 13), Isat explained his vision.

Buchanan’s rise to national recognition skyrocketed after securing Vybz Kartel’s freedom in July last year.

Now, through his newly launched H.E.A.T program, focusing on Health, Education, Agriculture, and Tourism, Isat says he’s determined to tackle the key issues affecting Portland’s people.

With the upcoming election on the horizon, he’s set to go head-to-head with the JLP’s Ann-Marie Vaz for the East Portland seat.
