Jamaica grants visa-free access to Citizens of Dom Rep

Citizens of the Dominican Republic are now able to travel to Jamaica without a visa.

The Jamaican government waived visa requirements for Dominican Republic nationals who hold ordinary, diplomatic, or official passports, effective February 4, 2025.

Tourism Minister Ed Bartlett said this waiver applies to travel for tourism or business purposes, diplomatic missions, or official government business for periods not exceeding 180 days, as well as transit through Jamaica for such purposes.

And, Dominican Republic Ambassador to Jamaica Angie Martínez, has thanked the Jamaican government for waiving the visa requirements.
