Some face to face classes will resume today at the Oracabessa Primary School in St. Mary.

Others will switch to the online modality.

This in the wake of a fire on Wednesday, which affected a classroom, the reading lab and a storage area for sports gear.

The cause of the fire remains unknown.

Principal Winsome Forbes said in person classes will be held for grades 3 to 6.

These students will be temporarily accommodated in another classroom, or by the church hall.

Grades one and 2 will be engaged virtually.

Normal in person classes will resume for all grades next Monday, March 3.
