Dancehall heavyweight Bounty Killer is calling on the government to rebuild Flat Bridge following a recent accident.

Last week, a viral video showed a vehicle plunging into the Rio Cobre after running off the bridge. Nearby residents rushed to assist, successfully pulling the driver from the water.

In response, Bounty Killer reshared the footage on his verified account, demanding action. “Flat Bridge dilemma again. How much more hundreds of vehicles and people life it’s going to take to make the government have the Chinese rebuild this duppy bridge Jamaica,” he wrote.

Flat Bridge, one of Jamaica’s oldest, has long been a site of frequent accidents, sparking ongoing calls for a safer, modern replacement.
