Students and staff of the Galina Primary school in St. Mary are to receive counselling tomorrow, following the discovery of a body in the school’s auditorium this morning.

The deceased has been identified as 63 year old Glenroy Meggo of Galina.

Reports are that at about 11:30 pm. M. yesterday, Meggo went to sleep in the school’s auditorium.

At around 5:50 this morning, while opening the school, the watchman found  Meggo on  a mattress, in the auditorium, with what appeared to be blood above his right eye.

He was reportedly unresponsive.

The police were alerted and Meggo was pronounced dead at hospital.

Investigations are ongoing to determine the cause of death.

Classes were dismissed early at the school due to the incident.
