Brianna Campbell named NAIA Women’s Indoor Track athlete of the week
Former St Jago stand out and Carifta Games sprint hurdles silver medallist Brianna Campbell has been named the national association of intercollegiate athletics (NAIA), Women’s Indoor Track athlete of the week.
Campbell now representing Life University Athletics in Georgia was selected based on her performances from January 27 – February 2, and was chosen from a pool of Conference/Continental Athletic Conference athletes.
She is currently ranked second in the NAIA this winter in the 200-meters dash.
At the Clemson Bob Pollock Invitational Meet, Campbell finished first in the semi-finals of the 60-meter hurdles in an “A” standard time of 8.18 seconds and also finished 15th overall in the women’s 200-meters dash, after earlier winning section six in 24.11 seconds.
