Watts flogs greedy organisers of Development meets
JAAA Honorary treasurer Ludlow Watts, is calling on the local governing body for track and field to take a look at the Development meets held across the island weekly.
Watts who was among the honourees at the Puma Jamalco Development meet in Clarendon last weekend, says a number of the meets are mere fundraising events posing as Development meets.
He added that the Jamalco meet is a truly one geared towards development of track and field.
The long-serving track and field administrator explains.
Another long-serving JAAA stalwart Marie Tavares was also among the honorees at the meet along with Olympians Dr Nelson Stokes and Wayne Thomas.
