Yaksta stands firm: “It’s about standing out, not fitting in!

Reggae and Dancehall artist Yaksta is making it clear—he’s not here to fit in, he’s here to stand out.

During his Road to Success interview with Kshema Francis on East Skankin’ Thursday, Yaksta emphasized that if fans expect him to conform to the very things he sings against, that would be a form of enslavement.

Beyond music, Yaksta is also working on several projects, including his brand Bush Foots, which features a line of water boots, speakers, banana chips, and events such as Bush Fest and Bush Fiesta.

Hailing from St. Mary, Yaksta continues to use his platform to promote financial independence, self-sufficiency, and positive lifestyle choices through his music.
