Approximately 50 Jamaicans arrive on the first 2025 deportation flight from the U.S.
Approximately 50 Jamaicans arrived in the island today on the first deportation flight from the United States for 2025.
Foreign Affairs Minister Kamina Johnson Smith confirmed that the flight landed at the Norman Manley International Airport in Kingston.
She said this is part of the regular monthly immigration arrangements between Jamaica and the U.S.
It is reported that Jamaicans deported from the U.S. typically arrive in the island on the last Thursday of each month.
