Mr Vegas says promoters get what they pay for

Dancehall entertainer Mr. Vegas has shared his thoughts on the controversy surrounding Chronic Law’s remarks at a PNP rally in St. Ann over the weekend.

Mr. Vegas took to Twitter to express his views, stating that, the artiste should not be solely blamed for his comments, as the organizers have a responsibility to vet the performers they book for events.

He continued by writing that promoters ultimately get what they pay for, and that the talent they book reflects their organization. He also emphasized that individuals who are not concerned about the derogatory comments do not genuinely love their country.

This comment comes after Dancehall deejay Chronic Law while supporting opposition PNP representative Danishka Williams at a rally in Southwest St Ann used a derogatory word as he referenced the ruling party. The utterance prompted Popcaan to apologize on his behalf.
