Three people died in two separate crashes in Clarendon and Manchester between yesterday and this morning. 

The deceased are: 31-year-old Anthony Cunningham, a resident of Butt Up District, Manchester, 22-year-old Paul Newman, a resident of Greenvale in Manchester, and an unidentified man. 

In the latest incident this morning police report that at about 1:38 A.M. two motorcycles were heading in opposite directions along the Butt Up main road in Manchester when the collision occurred. 

Both motorcyclists were taken to hospital where they were pronounced dead. 

In yesterday’s incident along the Blackwood main road in Clarendon the driver of a Honda Accord lost control of the vehicle and crashed at about 5:45 P.M.

The driver of the vehicle was taken to hospital where he succumbed. 

The Road Safety Unit says 12 people have died on the nation’s roads since the start of the year.
