The Agriculture Ministry has pledged to provide more help to farmers, in a bid to increase crop production.

Portfolio Minister Floyd Green made the disclosure during the launch of the National Irish Potato Programme in St. Ann.

Mr. Green said farmers will also get training in sustainable best practice methods.

The Minister urged farmers to plant according to contract demand.
