MOCA teams deployed in coordinated operations in Montego Bay and Portmore in major fraud investigation
Teams from the Major Organised Crime and Anti-corruption Agency (MOCA) are undertaking simultaneous and coordinated targeted operations in St James and St Catherine.
According to the Director of Communications at MOCA, Major Basil Jarrett, agents with operational support from the Jamaica Constabulary Force went to two locations, one in Montego Bay and the other in Portmore, St Catherine at about 5 this morning.
They are searching for a number of persons suspected to be involved in a major fraud investigation at a government entity.
The teams are at both locations carrying out search and seizure operations and arrests are expected to be made.
