In a touching display of gratitude and friendship, dancehall superstar Vybz Kartel honoured Shawn Storm at his birthday party, held at Meca last evening.

Kartel took to the mic to express his heartfelt appreciation for Shawn Storm’s unwavering support during his incarceration. Kartel credited Shawn Storm and Andre St John, collectively who he referred to as the “Gaza Crew,” for making his experience behind bars more bearable.

The “Thank You Jah” DJ acknowledged that their loyalty and camaraderie played a significant role in helping him cope with the challenges of imprisonment.

Meanwhile in a touching moment, Kartel shared a personal vow he made to God during his incarceration. He said he promised God that upon his release, he would utilize his platform to deter young people from a life of crime.

Back in 2014, Kartel, Shawn Storm, Kahira Jones; and Andre St John were convicted of the September 2011 murder of Williams.

The men spent 13 years behind bars and was released on July 31 of this year.
