General Secretary of the Jamaica Labour Party, Dr. Horace Chang says the party does not intend to carry any political weaknesses into 2025. 

Dr. Chang’s comment comes as Jamaicans brace for the next general election, which is due next year. 

His statement also comes amidst party leader Andrew Holness’ push to improve the performance of Members of Parliament after some constituents raised concerns.

When asked by reporters if Mr. Holness’ efforts will be sufficient, Dr. Chang said there will be no political weaknesses by the time the election is called.
