Approximately 40 residents are homeless following an early morning fire in Majesty Gardens, in Kingston.

The blaze gutted an area called “Board Building” at around 1 AM.

Member of Parliament for St. Andrew South Western, Dr. Angela Brown Burke says residents were unable to save their properties.

She notes that information on those affected is being gathered so that assistance can be arranged.

Children are among those impacted.
