Sections of Cassava Piece in Kingston and Whithorn in Westmoreland are now under a two-day curfew.

The curfew began at 6 o’ clock last evening and will remain in effect until 6 PM tomorrow.

In Cassava Piece the boundaries of the curfew cover, Grosvenor Heights, Grosvenor Terrence, Constant Spring Road, Clifton Boulevard, Manning Hill Road, Glen Drive and Cassava Piece Road.

While in Whithorn, the curfew affects the communities of Morass, Bastard Cedar Walk, Pullet Lane, Bullet Tree Lane and Shrewsbury Logwood.

The boundaries cover the Morass, Galloway, Torrington, and Hertford main roads.

During the hours of the curfew, all persons within its boundaries are required to remain within their premises, unless otherwise authorised.
