Nigerian singer Tems chose Jamaica as the backdrop for the music video of her Dancehall-inspired track, “Turn Me Up.”

On Thursday (Nov 21), Tems shared a series of behind-the-scenes photos on her verified Instagram, captioned, “Open your eyes,” accompanied by a Jamaican flag emoji.

“Turn Me Up” is featured on her album Born in the Wild, which has already garnered over 242,000 views on YouTube within two days of release.

The music video release follows Tems’ impressive three Grammy nominations which includes Best R&B Song for Burning, Best Global Music Album for Born in the Wild, and Best African Music Performance for Love Me Jeje.
