IRIE FM’s Sports Editor, Robert Williams can be seen in the second installment of the Netflix sports docuseries, Sprint.

Despite not being a paid extra, Williams appears in the episode twice. The footage captured during the Paris Olympics highlights him interacting with athletes and coaching staff at the games.

At seven minutes and 27 seconds into episode three of season two, the renowned sports journalist was captured speaking with celebrated track and field coach, Stephen Francis, while at the twenty-five-minute and 17-second marker, he was shown interviewing track sensation Shericka Jackson at Puma House.

First installed in July of this year, Sprint takes an exclusive behind the scenes look at top athletes and delves deep into the psyche of elite competitors, training to be the fastest person on the planet.

Season two of the docuseries premiered on November 13. The four-part series focuses on the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and the thrills and spills that unfolded in the French capital.
