PAJ says allegations of bias and political alignment placed shadow over work of journalists in the past year
President of the Press Association of Jamaica Dashan Hendricks says allegations of bias and political alignment placed a shadow over the work of journalists over the past year.
He made the statement at yesterday’s church service to mark the commencement of Journalism Week.
He said it is in these moments that dedication to integrity and truth must shine the brightest.
Mr Hendricks says journalists must also hold themselves to the same accountability that they demand from others.
The PAJ president said journalists must recommit themselves to the highest ethical standards.
