Another coaching change at Dinthill Technical
There has been another coaching change at former two-time Dacosta Cup Champions Dinthill Technical for the second time this season, after interim head coach IRA Hemmings resigned from the post at the St. Catherine-based institution with immediate effect.
Hemmings joined Dinthill at the start of the campaign as assistant to then head coach Jermaine Miller who resigned mid-way the season.
His resignation came on the eve of Dinthill’s crucial game at home against Zone 3 rivals Happy Grove.
Both teams are without at point after losing their opening game.
Victory would boost their hopes of advancing to the quarterfinals.
Hemmings, meanwhile, has been replaced by Arnett Gardens head coach Xavier Gilbert and former Dunbeholden and Mount Pleasant boss Harold Thomas who both share coaching duties.
Dinthill in the meantime are currently serving a three-year probation, while two players were slapped with one year bans and another suspended for three games by ISSA, after an altercation earlier this season between a match official and members of the team.
