Holness says JLP will examine how well its representatives are performing
Jamaica Labour Party leader Prime Minister Andrew Holness says in the coming months, the party will be examining how well its representatives are doing their jobs.
He made the announcement during the JLP’s Northern Clarendon Conference at the Aenon Town Primary School, last evening.
Noting recent polls that show that the opposition People’s National Party, is leading in favourability, Mr. Holness said despite what polls say, what really matters is how representatives execute their responsibility to citizens and show that they care.
He noted however, that the performance of some representatives is not at the preferred level.
Mr. Holness said the review must therefore be done, stressing that citizens must feel the care of their representatives.
He reiterated that the government is building a caring economy.
