Richie Stephens benefit show in support of Lieutenant Stitchie
Richie Stephens has announced a benefit show in support of his colleague, Lieutenant Stitchie.
Dubbed Richie for Stitchie, the concert is slated for Black Friday, November 29, in Chicago. The event will headline Richie Stephens featuring by Indika Reggae Band and Stone Love Sound.
According to information on a flyer shared by Stephens, all proceeds from the event will be donated to the Lieutenant Stitchie Rehabilitation Fund. Stephens joins fellow entertainers Bounty Killer and Shaggy who have publicly donated to Lieutenant Stitchie. On October 3, Shaggy and Bounty through the Bounty Killer Foundation, teamed up to donate ten thousand USD towards Stitchie’s medical expenses.
In early September, a GoFundMe campaign was launched to raise funds for Lieutenant Stitchie. The campaign organized by his wife Sophia Laing, in a synopsis shared that the legendary entertainer recently suffered a severe brain hemorrhage.
Up to news time, the campaign had raised $23,270 out of a 100,000 USD target.
