The local-based Reggae girl contingent will leave the island on Sunday to face France

The local-based members of the Reggae girl contingent including head coach Hubert Busby,will leave the island on Sunday for France, where they will face the French national senior women’s team in one-off friendly international.

The match up takes place next Friday October 25 at the Stade Auguste-Bonal located in Eastern France and is scheduled to kick-off at 2:05 pm Jamaica time.

Meanwhile the 42nd ranked Reggae Girlz are also scheduled to face 50th ranked South Africa on November 29 and December 2 on home home. 

This will be the first meeting between the teams since april 2019 in Durban where they played out a one-all draw.

The Jamaicans are using the games as preparation for the Concacaf Women’s qualifiers which kicks off in 2025 and from which four teams will advance to the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Brazil.
