A security guard was shot and killed at a dwelling in Portmore, St. Catherine, last night. 

He is 34-year-old Bjorn Moore of West Gate Hill, White Sands, St. James. 

Police say residents heard loud explosions around 10:40 pm on Alamanda Drive and summoned them. 

Upon their arrival Moore was found with gunshot wounds. 

He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
