Vehicle which plunged into the Rio Cobre on Sunday recovered
A motor vehicle which plunged into the Rio Cobre, in St. Catherine yesterday, was recovered today.
Reports are that on Sunday morning the Toyota Probox motor car was being driven through the Bog Walk Gorge when it plunged into the river.
The two male occupants were taken to hospital, treated and released.
Head of the Public Safety and Traffic Enforcement Branch (PSTEB) Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Gary McKenzie said lawmen returned to the gorge to remove the vehicle today.
IRIE FM News understands that the recovery process resulted in a pile-up of traffic in the area.
