West Indies seek to ride winning momentum against Sri-Lanka in second T/20 International  

The West Indies cricketers will seek to ride the current momentum and push for a second win on the trot. 

This when they oppose Sri Lanka in the second and penultimate game of the three-match T/20 International series in Dambulla tomorrow . 

Dating back to August in the 3nil series whitewash of Pakistan, the ‘Windies who are second on the ICC Men’s T/20 rankings, are now unbeaten across 4 games, after beating the Sri Lankans by 5 wickets yesterday with 5 balls to spare to take a one-nil lead.

Chasing 180 for victory, the windies made 180 for 5 in 19.1 overs, spearheaded by Jamaican opener Brandon King who slammed a whirlwind 63 off 33 balls.

King who was returning from injury was ably supported by fellow opener Evin Lewis who cracked an even 50 off 28 balls,as they put on 107 for the first wicket.

Earlier captain Charith Asalanka 59 and Kamindu Mendis 51, both made half centuries to lead Sri Lanka to 179 for 7 from their allotted 20 overs.

Romario Shepherd 2 for 29, was the top West Indies bowler.
