MP Rhoda Moy Crawford affirms support for Manchester police; denounces what she calls, demotivating utterances
Member of Parliament for Central Manchester, Rhoda Moy Crawford says she stands in support of the lawful and professional efforts of the police to combat the scourge of criminality across the parish.
This, following calls from Councillors of the Opposition People’s National Party and some citizens for a crime-fighting plan for the parish.
It also comes in the wake of concern over the police’s capacity to effectively curb the escalating violence.
Ms. Crawford maintained that the Manchester police are guided by the intelligence provided to them and their expertise as crime fighters.
She said peace talks will continue with key members of the Jamaica Constabulary Force.
