Prime Minister Andrew Holness has stressed that an increase in investments help to grow the country’s economy, which in turn, helps the government provide the resources that improve the quality of citizens’ lives. 

According to the Prime Minister, investments and a good economy allow people to eat.  

Mr Holness made the comment at the opening ceremony for the courts branch in Drax Hall St Ann yesterday. 

He noted that the development of Drax Hall into a commercial hub, facilitates job creation and reduced unemployment. 

Mr Holness noted the importance of business operators knowing that it’s safe to invest in Jamaica. 

The Prime Minister said the–dividends from the foreign direct investments are reinvested to citizens in tangible ways.
