Newly  minted  Reggae  Boy  Mason Holgate  has  been  given  the  greenlight  to  represent  Jamaica.

The  27  year  old  central  defender  who  is  on  loan  at  English  Championship  Club  West  Bromwich  Albion  from  Premiership  club  Everton will  now  be  available  for  tonights  Concacaf  Nations  League  encounter  against  Nicaragua  at  the  Nicaragua  National  Stadium  in  Managua.

The  clearance  for  Holgate  from  footballs world  governing  body  FIFA comes  24  hours  after  coach  Steve  Mclaren told  yesterday’s  pre-match Press  Conference  that  a  decision  on  the  availability  of  Holgate  would  be  a  last  minute  decision  while  indicating  that  all the FIFA  requirements had   been met.
