Cable and Wireless Communications to use external technical support in response to future storms
Cable and Wireless Communications will be utilizing external technical support in its response to future storms.
According to Senior Director for Enterprise at Cable and Wireless Business, Delroy McLean, the aim is to add persons to the local team who have the experience to provide technical support in the event of a hurricane.
Referring to the technical assistance provided by a team from the region following Hurricane Beryl, Mr. McLean expressed confidence in the partnership.
Meanwhile, the senior director emphasized that adding more layers of resilience will allow for increased preparedness against future storms.
This includes green energy and the deployment of personnel.
Mr. McLean was speaking at a virtual presentation at a hurricane symposium in Kingston this morning.
