Three-vehicle crash along Salem main road, St. Ann leaves several injured
A three-vehicle crash along the Salem main road in St. Ann this afternoon resulted in several persons being injured, including ambulance medics.
Photos of the incident are circulating on social media.
The crash involved a pro-box motor car that was being operated as a taxi, a coaster bus transporting hotel staff members, and an ambulance.
It was reported that the pro-box got into the path of the ambulance and in an attempt to avoid being hit, the ambulance swerved.
The ambulance then collided with the coaster bus.
The operators of the ambulance service expressed relief that the persons on board the vehicle were not seriously injured.
They are being treated at hospital.
The status of the injured hotel workers is not clear.
The St. Ann police are investigating.
