JPS restoring electricity to customers in western parishes who lost power due to severe weather
The Jamaica Public Service, JPS, is reportedly working to restore power to some four thousand customers in western parishes.
Unplanned outages were reported in St. James, St. Elizabeth, Hanover and Westmoreland, yesterday due to poor weather conditions.
Providing an update this morning, Energy Minister Daryl Vaz said some 5000 of the 9000 impacted customers have been reconnected to the grid.
