Entertainer Spice is calling on the Jamaican Government to assist local entrepreneurs in the quest to obtain visas to the United States.

The call came during a conversation with Spice and fellow entertainer Pamputtae who said after trying for over 13 years she is yet to get approval for a US Visa. The women who were on a TikTok live said the issue is of great concern in the industry. During the conversation Pamputtae says she is a law-abiding citizen and cannot fathom the reason behind her being denied a visa since 2011.

Meanwhile Spice says she will be calling on Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia Babsy Grange to assist Pamputtae with her visa woes.

Back in October 2023 Pamputtae shared a snippet of her UK work visa via her official Instagram account which she captioned in part, “England Pamputtae is coming in a real life. God and time.” The post came after she received the green light from the UK embassy after some 11 years.
