Fire destroyed a section of a dwelling on University Crescent in St. Andrew this morning displacing several university students.

No one was injured in the blaze which started around 9:30 A.M.

Jamaica Fire Brigade Divisional Commander for Kingston and St. Andrew Senior Superintendent Patrick Gooden said firefighters responded to the scene and are carrying out cooling-down operations.

He said the cause of the blaze is being investigated.
