When the new academic year begins next Monday, the occasion will be a sad one for staff and students at the Little London Primary school in Westmoreland.

This as school principal Shirlet Craig Davis, who had been ailing for some time, passed away today.

It’s reported that Mrs Davis was recently injured in an accident and admitted at hospital in serious condition.

She remained in a coma until death.

Chair of the Little London primary school board Hilda Hibbert told Irie FM News that arrangements are being made for grief counselling, next Monday.
