Police have taken into custody another suspect in Sunday’s mass killing at  Cherry Tree Lane, in Clarendon.

8 people were fatally shot, including a 7-year-old boy, while 9 others, including a 1-year-old, were wounded.

Police named the suspect, as Leighton White, otherwise called ‘Bonz’ of May Pen, Clarendon.

Reports are that White attended a police station in the parish, reporting on condition of bail, on a previous case of shooting, when he was identified, and held by the police.

White’s arrest, follows the fatal shooting of Steve Smith, otherwise called ‘Thicka’ or ‘Fly Brain’, another suspect in the mass shooting.

Smith was fatally shot during an alleged confrontation with the police on Wednesday afternoon.
