Former national U17 midfielder Revaldo Mitchell joins FK Rabotnicki Skopje in Macedonia

Waterhouse midfielder Revaldo Mitchell has inked a deal with FK Rabotnicki Skopje and will now be playing in the Macedonian First League.

The move, which is for an undisclosed fee, sees Mitchell becoming the latest Jamaican player to play in Europe.

Known for his skillful dribbles and creative play, Mitchell scored 5 times in 21 appearances last season to help Waterhouse finish sixth on the Jamaica Premier League standings to earn the final playoff spot.

Mitchell shared his excitement about the move, stating, “I am grateful for my time at Waterhouse FC and the support I have received from the fans, teammates, and coaching staff. I am looking forward to this new chapter with FK Rabotnicki AD – Skopje and am eager to contribute to my new team.”

At the schoolboy level the midfielder was a mainstay for Wolmer’s Boys in the ISSA Manning Cup and represented Jamaica at the 2019 CONCACAF Men’s Under-17 Championships.

Waterhouse FC President, Donovan White, expressed his gratitude towards Mitchell for his contributions to the team. “Revaldo has been an outstanding player for Waterhouse FC, and while we are sad to see him go, we are also incredibly proud of his achievements and excited for his future. This transfer is a testament to his hard work and dedication.”

The 22 year old before joining Waterhouse also represented Portmore United (2021 and Arnett Gardens (2022-2023).

FK Rabotnicki are third on goal difference in the Macedonian First League which got underway on Sunday.
